We resolve to…

In 2010, Company C resolves to be a customer first organization that delivers extraordinary experiences resulting in raving fans.

Our owners wanted to share their New Years Resolutions as well….

I will ask more questions and listen, just like I “tell” my kids to do.

Chris Chapin, Co-Owner and Design & Creative Director

I resolve to finally finish decorating our house! You’re thinking “I can’t believe Chris & Walter’s house is not totally finished.” Well …the story goes something like this…we moved to this house four years ago…during this time; we’ve used it for three photo shoots, with another Fall 2010 shoot going on this week! Our house is constantly in motion with rugs and furniture moving frequently in and out. It’s never quite settled because with each new season, I want to live with our newest collections. So in 2010, I resolve to finally finish it—top to bottom. And to make sure I stick to my resolution, I’ll take you on the journey with me—with monthly updates in our blog.

I also want to continue to follow my passion for adventure and developing colorful, new products. My overactive brain wants to explore so many places and is always thinking of new ideas and designs. So for resolution number two—I will travel to an exotic country where I haven’t been yet, to live adventurously, explore and develop a colorful new collection. I’ve been designing it in my head for months now. Stay tuned and I’ll reveal more of the concepts as the year progresses…

Thanks everyone! Hope to hear from you all soon.

Being you are going to listen............... is there any way that future rugs could start coming in a 9 x 12?? so many times people want a rug for their dinning rooms and with the tables they need a 9 x 12 ...... 8 x 10 too small 10 x 14 too large.

  • I hear you! And thanks for your comment. A 9’ x 12’ sounds like a great size for your situation.

We have seen a growing demand for large rugs in general. For Company C, our 10’ x 14’ sales have really blossomed so we plan to produce even more designs in that size. The 8’ x 11’ size fills a mid-point between the 6’ x 9’ and l0’ x 14’. Sorry, no plans for a 9’ x 12’ in the near future.

My recommendations would be in some cases the use of (2 of the same) 6’ x 9’ rugs side by side can work to fill larger spaces. Leaving a gap in between to show from floor. Not ideal for a dining room, but fine in large living spaces that may have two distinct zones or sitting areas. It is often best to round up to the largest rug size possible for the room to be flexible for furniture placement, rather than going too small. By the way, have you tried our room planner where you can drop different rugs into scaled rooms?

Thanks again for your question and interest in Company C.
