A Pet-Inspired Holiday…

We recently launched a collection of holiday pillows and accent rugs. The majority of the products in the collection are inspired by pets, more specifically by dogs. Not being a dog-owner myself, I went to the design team to learn more about the inspiration behind this new collection. I probably should note that all four members of the design team are dog owners.

Here are the comments that I received when asking why they’re so inspired by their dogs. We’d love to hear your feedback as well! Are you inspired by your pet? Tell us about it!

Lucky

The newest addition is Lucky, a four-month old Golden Retriever.

“One of the most wonderful aspects of living with a dog, is that no matter if you’re away for an hour or the whole day you’re dog welcomes you home, as if you’ve been gone a year. The joyful cries, the wiggling body, the jumping about and the expression of sheer joy just at seeing you again is heart-lifting.”

“The blind faith, trust and loyalty a dog gives its owner is inspiring.”

“Having a dog is like having a constant best friend with you all the time. They don’t care where they are or what they’re doing just as long as you’re there.”

“The enthusiasm a dog has for life and living it fully is wonderful. I watch how my dog approaches life, eagerly wanting to do new things, go new places and I hope to have that same drive in myself. Not to worry about the past or future, live in the moment and soak it all in.”

I think the dog in the upper left is a little beady eyed. Is the dog being wrapped up tight to keep from lunging at the camera person? Actually I think there should be equal time for cats. Cats are very important. I think that the advent of civilization hinged on the domestication of the cat.

I think the dog in the upper left is a little beady eyed. By the way is it being wrapped in a towel to keep it from lunging at the camera person? My friends and I enjoy looking at the dog pictures. We think cats should have equal time.

Sorry I had double comments. Sometimes I can't use the keyboard too well.
